About the Artist
Charlotte Hoffman is primarily a landscape painter who paints mainly with pastels but also uses watercolor, gouache and oil. She lives in Mariposa with her photographer husband, David Hoffman. They have been in the area since the late 90’s.
Charlotte was a military brat moving all over the world before living in the San Joaquin Valley for three decades. There the landscape grabbed her attention and she began painting her environment. She is drawn to the light, colors and textures of a landscapes. She also loves the challenge of abstracts.
