Vision Statement
This was a work that I did during a time that I was struggling with my body. The pressures of being a woman and to be "beautiful" can be discouraging and sometimes destructive.
I believe that it is important to show ourselves as we are, and normalize "normal", as we are constantly flooded with photos and images that have been filtered, altered and even had work done to them (cosmetic surgery). It's a conversation that needs to be had, as I know it has an affect on our future generation and how they view themselves.
