Vision Statement
Through this piece, I attempt to portray the internal struggle within one’s self. The piece captures a major part of my 2021. Stress, anxiety, pressure; from myself, from society, from school. I often utilize escapism methods to separate myself from those unpleasant aspects of daily life. One self represents the struggles of reality while the other self reaches out in attempt to break away. Two eyes watches, are they my own, watching as an outsider? Or do they come from the source of my stress? Perhaps they are a pair, perhaps they are not.
