About the Artist

Gretchen grows her gourds on her farm in Coarsegold, Ca. She plants the seeds in the spring and one year later her gourds are ready to clean, carve, wood burn and paint . She is inspired by the nature and animals around her mountain home. She has won many awards and has also taught Art in the local schools.
