Deborah Pepin lives and paints the San Joaquin Valley, Sierra Nevada Mountains, deserts, and the central Coast of California. You can often find her painting out somewhere. She does her plein air work in oils and pastels and feels that these mediums offer a better representation of the local colors and textures., If she is not painting plein air she is working in her studio, in pastels and oils, as well as her ink pours or doodles.
