About the Artist

I was inspired with the idea of painting stumps when I misunderstood a friend who mentioned she had been “painting trees” in the forest (she wasn’t actually putting paint on trees, but we had a good laugh)… this became a series of functional art as commentary on destroying the wild places for our pleasure, which also fades.
