MettaGallery was conceived to provide organizations and artists with an online space to display their work. Having an online show allows the entire world to view your exhibit, not just the people who walk through your doors. It’s a new way to build an international following for yourself or arts organization.

MettaGallery is the brainchild of Jennifer Moss, artist and co-founder of Visions of Self, the international online art show for female artists. Developed in 2020 during the Covid lockdown, our local arts organization wanted a way to continue our exhibitions without meeting in person. Jennifer is a 20+ year web developer and owner of Moss Web Works, a web agency for small businesses, non-profits, and solopreneurs.

Our main goal is to feature art from women and underrepresented voices. Make sure you check our ongoing Calls for Entry, as participating in any of the MettaGallery shows increases your name recognition and ranking in search engines.

Awards: Cash awards are sent via PayPal, Venmo, or mailed check. No other payment options are available at this time.

Refunds: Refunds are only granted in the event that the show is canceled or postponed. Entries that have been declined or retracted are not eligible for refund.

Eligibility: All work must be created by the person submitting the work. AI-generated art is not accepted. If we determine that you have submitted work that was primarily generated through artificial intelligence, it will be automatically declined without refund.

Judging: Due to unfortunate and threatening messages, judges will remain anonymous for every MettaGallery show. If you are interested in being a show judge, contact shows@mettagallery.com. Judges are not compensated.

MettaGallery is the brainchild of web developer Jennifer Moss. Jennifer has been creating online applications since 1996 and is also an author and writing instructor.
