I made this collage on Christmas morning, just prior to receiving positive Covid test results. Was very focused with intricate use of scissors but had no energy for anything for next two weeks. It is my first synthesis of visual imagery since moving to Oakhurst from San Jose last July. It symbolizes my arrival from a warmer climate to a climate with seasons. Manzanita (seen in upper right corner) is my tree. It is everywhere here. For me, walking the Manzanita path symbolizes survival.
