This is a view of myself that is somewhat horrific. Nevertheless I understand myself to be a creature–so this portrait defines my self-concept. Many of my portraits represent depictions that are visual metaphors of my own thought, feelings and self-image.. Note that a good friend of mine said, oddly enough, that the woman depicted is beautiful.
