Coming out of my Shell

Amanda Bertrand
Porterdale, GA United States
Drawing: Pencil

Using single strokes of Prismacolor pencils to achieve a minimalist look I drew two hands cracking open an egg with a face in front of a carton of eggs. This style was chosen because I did not want it to be crystal clear and almost feel confusing to the viewer as it feels to me. I drew this to show my state of mind when it comes to coming out of my shell and/or moving on from sadness and anxiety.
