Visions of Self is an annual show of work from female artists across the world. It’s hosted by the Women’s Voices, Women’s Vision group of Yosemite Sierra Artists. In our second year, we’re featuring over 100 artists from 14 countries, with work including the subjects of self-portraiture, environment, emotions, and state of being.

Because of the pandemic everything is on hold, my second job at a Renaissance festival, being with family and friends, trying to reconnect with my eldest daughter and I wanted to express my frustrations. This piece is #4 in a series of 5 that started out with a swipe technique and looking at the canvas after, I saw a girl in the background standing in the rain.
